Here's a close-up of Guy Schafer at the controls of Donkey version 1.0.
Note the versatile, yet intuitive, user interface (fully Y2K compliant) and the cellulose
fuel units stacked in the background. Although many manufacturers build machinery which
complies with ISO9002 documentation requirements, ours is unique in that it can also be
fueled by the resulting paperwork. Our calculations show that the paperwork generated in
bringing to market an average ISO9002-compliant PDA or cell phone will fuel our donkey for
approximately seven miles of average road building or for skidding approximately 900,000
board feet of average logs. Utilizing the safety agency (UL, CSA, CDRH, etc) and EMC
documentation as additional boiler fuel typically provides another 2 miles or 250mbf
of work.
